Rick Tompkins

Rick started his career with Halliburton in Oklahoma City, OK in 1979 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University.

In 1984 Rick accepted a position with Dresser Guiberson where he held various assignments prior to the merger with Halliburton in 1998. At the time of the merger Rick was Vice President of Sales and Operations for Dresser Oil Tools. Following the merger Rick served as Technical Services Manager for Halliburton Completion Products based in Carrollton, Texas.

In 2001 Rick moved to Jakarta, Indonesia as Country Manager for Completions Products for Indonesia and China.

In 2002 Rick moved to Moscow as Director of Strategic Development for Eurasia. For the past three years Rick has continued to work across the FSU as Regional Vice President, Eurasia.

Rick is a member of SPE and a Registered Professional Engineer with the Oklahoma State Board of Registration in Petroleum Engineering.
