Dmitry Sazonenko

Dmitry Sazonenko is Senior Reservoir Geologist working with TOTAL on complex carbonate Kharyaga project.

Started with Russian Academy of Science at 1998 as junior researcher in Petroleum Geology Institute Dmitry joined the industry in 2003 as YUKOS oil company employee responsible for production optimization in Western Siberia assets. Then Dmitry was a part of project management team working on overseas oil and gas assets with LUKOIL. And before join to TOTAL he was in charge of geology in Imperial Energy independent oil company successfully acting in Western Siberia. Now his main interests range from petrophysical characterization of different types of rock to fullfield reservoir management.

Dmitry graduated from Novosibirsk State University in 2001 with MSc degree in petroleum geology and also holds MSc holds M.Sc in reservoir engineering from Heriot-Watt University of Scotland.
