Maria Belyanushkina

Maria Belyanushkina works for the “Central Geophysical Expedition”, JSC, Data Mining department. The main direction is development of geophysical software for calculation of prognosis maps and seismic facies maps using seismic data in the seismic data interpretation process.

Maria graduated with honors in 2005 from Russian State Geological Prospecting University in applied mathematics (Geophysical department). In 2009 she earned a PhD degree in Technical Sciences with specialty “Geophysics and Geophysical Methods of Mineral Product Exploration”.

Maria has been a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 2005. She won first place in the Russian and Caspian Regional Student Paper Contest (PhD division) at ROGC in 2008, and participated in the International Student Paper Contest at the 2009 SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans, USA.
