Yuri Naumov

Yuri Naumov is currently responsible for Reservoir Performance Analysis in JSC “NOVATEK” gas and oil company (4,3% of Russia 2007 Gas production). He is also a member of new projects evaluation Team within the company.

Yuri has unique experience working in both service and producing companies. Yuri Naumov is theleader type professional, experienced engineer, result oriented person capable of working in different environments and timely fashion.

Yuri has started his career in 1999 working for Schlumberger-YUKOS alliance in a team responsible for development and implementation of Production Enhancement and Reservoir Engineering Optimization Initiatives. Green and mature fields Waterflooding solutions engineering, production optimization and field development planning were major activities.

In 2003 Yuri joined TNK-BP as a deputy to the Production department head in Western Siberia and then as reservoir engineering department head in Orenburg region where he dealt with current production issues such as short and long planning, tendering for equipment, constructing production facilities, AL well stock run time increasing, institutionalizing well testing practicing, justifying new drilling and actions to optimize the production.

In 2006 he worked for LUKOIL Co in Strategic Development and Investment Analysis Division using technical knowledge to better evaluate economics of new ventures and increase the effectiveness of existing fields.

In 2007 Yuri was subsurface team leader and chief geologist for one of the asset of LundinPetroleum, Russia. His job was full field HDM creation, Field Documentation Coordination (reserves calculation, Pilot production), dealing with service companies and state agencies, Geology Model creation coordination, tests planning and performing, Meeting License Obligations control, on site drilling control.

Yuri graduated from Moscow State University in 2000 with Msc in Geology and completed Basic Business Education Program with American Institute of Business and Economics in 2006.
