Qualitatively performed well-testing contain a huge array of information. On the other hand well-tests are costly and require serious interference with the well.
Today there is a trend of convergence of technological measurements and well-testing and the new way to getting information is born. We called emerging complex “technological and well-testing control”. It is based on long-term (maintained throughout the life of wells) monitoring of technological well parameters. Monitoring is conducted by modern measurement tools and hence with high quality. As such tools are the permanent down-hole measurement tool (PDMT) on base of logging gages. “Gaspromneft” company realize wide program to implement and improve such systems. It is an autonomous down-hole multiparameter modules (temperature, pressure, rate, water hold up), installing at anchor under the pump intake, remote devices, surface related electrical and wireless communication channel, etc. Data from the technological and well-testing control is the informational basis for a reservoir numerical model.
The purpose of the presentation is technological and well-testing control methods consideration, main types of down-hole tolls and equipment (including a fundamentally new ones) illustration, used for well life monitoring, informative features of such measurements demonstration, ways of using such results in numerical reservoir simulation discussion, the possibilities of this approach in terms of improving wells productivity and the oil recovery factor for the field in general demonstration.
