Started in 1991, our section has enjoyed strong growth in the last several years – winning the global SPE membership contest in our bracket for three of the last four years. Our Moscow members come from over 20 oil companies, oilfield service companies, universities and institutes. We are always actively seeking new members and sponsors. We also started and support 11 Student Chapters across Russia.

From September through June, we hold Monthly Technical Meetings, International Applied Technology Workshops, and University events. We are also actively planning for the SPE Petroleum Professional Certification  in Russia. See this site for additional information.

• Provide the means to collect, disseminate and exchange technical information
• Provide opportunities through  programs for interested (and qualified) individuals to maintain and upgrade their individual technical competence.
