Results of cementing of the Cenomanian wells on the Zapolyarnoye Gas Condensate Field performed by service companies

Abstract

The presentation considers the reasons by which the several cementing technologies have been tested in the Cenomanian wells of the Zapolyarnoye Gas Condensate Field.

It provides the features of the equipment and materials used by service companies for performance of the said operations.

The report presents the aggregate results of cementing of 29 wells, and analyzes the reasons of gas migration in a number of tested wells.

Biography

Kirshin V.I.  A 1978 graduate of the Moscow Gubkin Oil and Gas Institute, speciality – drilling of oil and gas wells.

After graduation was given an employment in the Production Association "Soyuzburgaz" as a driller assistant. In 1985 was appointed the Chief Engineer of Soyuzburgaz.

In 1988 was sent on an assignment to Ethiopia as a Prime Drilling Consultant at the Mining and Energy Ministry of Ethiopia.

Since 1993 has been working in OAO "GAZPROM" as the senior technology engineer in the Gas and Gas-Condensate Well Drilling Department. 

Currently - finalizing the  Ph.D. thesis.
