This event is aimed at exchange of experience, knowledge and best examples in integrated interpretation of core, log and field data. The main topics of the conference: up-to-date core examination methods; creation of highly organized projects for analysis of well survey data and core information; specific features of up-to-date multi-well interpretation; examples of integrated petrophysical projects; complex reservoirs (the Bazhenov formation is of particular interest); special tasks of well surveying; non-conventional approaches. The target audience of the conference is representatives from leading oil and gas producing companies and geological and geophysical service organizations.

Planning to participate:
TNK-BP, Salym Petroleum, SEIC, Novatek, Total, Gazpromneft, LUKOIL, Rosneft, Tatneft, Bashneft, Surgutneftegas, Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, Russian service companies.

Programme Committee:
Alexey Khabarov – TNK-BP TNNC (Chair)
Victor Petersilie- VNIGNI
Grigory Yatsenko - Tvergeofizika
Vladimir Teploukhov- Gazpromneft NTC
Yakov Volokitin - Salym Petroleum Development
Alexey Alexeev- Salym Petroleum Development
Alexey Lubinets- Schlumberger
Vladislav Yatsenko - Rosneft
Victor Yefimov - SurgutNIPIneft
Alexey Malshakov – TNK-ВР TNNC
Andrey Malinin - Neftegazgeofizika
Mikhail Revva – Weatherford
Kirill Shmyglya- BP

Top-priority subjects of reports:

  • New methods for core sampling and analysis (unconsolidated rock analysis; the core with retained saturation; computed tomography; nuclear magnetic resonance; qualitative analysis of core photographs; flow experiments; digital petrophysics, etc.)
  • Arrangement of the core data collection and storage system (up-to-date databases; assessment of quality and consistency of core examination results)
  • Summary analysis of core data (generation of up-to-date integrated reports on core examination for development control tasks, integrated geological and hydrodynamic modeling and calculation of reserves)
  • Creation of highly organized interpretation projects (unification, structuring, aggregation and quality assessment of initial well data set)
  • Specific features of automated multi-well survey data processing and interpretation (development of smart adaptive algorithms for well survey data interpretation; aggregation of all integrated petrophysical model elements within a single process)
  • Examples of integrated full-scale petrophysical projects (examples of development/modeling/reserve calculation task solving; accounting of sedimentology/geology/lithology; forecast of permeability; agreement with field data and results of geological and hydrodynamic modeling; uncertainty analysis, etc.)
  • Use of special well-survey methods (poor-porous, bituminized, fractured, cavernous, microstratified reservoirs, basement/weathering crust rocks, saline rocks, etc.)
  • Complex reservoirs/Bazhenov formation/Abalak, etc. (низкопористые, битуминизированные, трещиноватые, кавернозные, микрослоистые коллекторы, породы фундамента/коры выветривания, засолоненные породы и пр.)
  • Specific features of horizontal well interpretation (quality analysis/data selection; accounting of anisotropy; matching of various investigation radii of well survey methods; modeling, etc.)
  • Petrophysical innovations (examples of author’s methods and processes for solving of complex geological and geophysical tasks and operational tasks)
